Support Services

MDM provides specialized support services designed to meet the needs of start-up and emerging medical device companies. The following are examples of the types of services available to assist young companies as they progress through the various phases of product development and market release

· Clean Room Rental: Rent space in our certified class 10,000 manufacturing environment. We will provide the space you need to assemble and package small lots of product for clinical trials or other activities. You do the actual assembly and testing. Our clean room staff is available to assist you as needed.

· Package Design: Whether you need am interim package in small quantities to get you through clinical trials or a master package configuration for market release, we have the expertise to meet the challenge. Flexible barriers, thermoformed trays, die-cut backer cards, foam components, chipboard cartons and corrugated master shippers are all items we routinely design for our clients.

· Package Testing: We have all of the equipment in-house to test your packaged product and identify potential areas of failure. We can quickly evaluate prototype package configurations and provide feedback BEFORE you lock down the design and commit thousands of dollars to custom tooling and packaging components. · Sterilization Processing and Validation: We can help you to choose the best method of sterilization for your specific device. We can submit samples to the various sterilization processes for functional evaluation. Once the sterilization method is determined, we’ll provide turnkey validation from protocol to final report for all sterilization methods. We manage the entire process. The final report is complete and ready for submission to the FDA or your notified body.

· Process Development and Validation: We can assist you with the development and validation of specialized manufacturing processes necessary to build your product.

· Joint Ventures: We are interested in creating joint ventures and strategic alliances with emerging companies who need assistance in getting their technology to the marketplace.
